Terms and Conditions shall now be referred to as Construction Stave Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).

The brand name for the construction stave is Construction stave.

Construction Stave is a major organization that helps individuals and businesses obtain the CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Card, as well as scheduling candidates for Health, Safety, and Environmental courses and testing Construction NVQs.

 

Definitions

 

Construction Stave owns and operates this website (“www.constructionstave.co.uk”). Construction Stave is referred to as “Construction Stave,” “we,” “us,” “our,” and “ours” in these Terms and Conditions. When used in these Terms and Conditions, the terms “you,” “your,” and “yours” refer to any user of this website who intends to purchase a product or service from the website or over the phone. If you are working on behalf of a company, you affirm that you have received authorization from that company to use their credit card and make purchases on our website. Any user of our website who purchases a product outside of business hours is referred to as a “Consumer.” Any mention to a person includes a reference to a company authority board department or other body, and any reference to a person includes a reference to a company authority board department or other body.

All applicable laws and regulations, as well as these Terms and Conditions, govern access to and use of the website and the information, products, and services made available via it. Any individual, firm, business, or partnership that acquires goods or services from Construction Stave on any of its websites or over the phone is bound by these terms and conditions. You agree to these Terms and Conditions, which form a legally binding agreement, by accessing the website. Please leave the website if you do not agree. These terms apply to our website’s authorized users. We reserve the right to change or amend the terms of the Construction Stave at any time. After the new rules take effect, the new terms will only apply to sales and contracts. The Terms that apply to you are those that are posted on our website at the time you place your order. We do not sell goods or services to children under the age of sixteen. If you are under the age of 16, you may only buy products or services on our website with a parent’s or guardian’s permission. We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any moment without prior notice to you. The most recent Terms and Conditions will be displayed on the website, and you should always examine them before using the website to ensure that you are familiar with the Terms and Conditions under which you are entitled to access it. Access to the website (or portions thereof) and the use of information, materials, products, or services provided through this website (or portions thereof), is not intended and is prohibited, where such access or use violates applicable laws or regulations. These Terms and Conditions are effective from 13th September 2020 until further notice

 

Services and information

 

Every order you place on the Website or over the phone is subject to acceptance in accordance with these Terms. By consenting to the Terms and Conditions on live chat, you give Construction Stave permission to contact you and send you various offers via email that the issue on a regular basis that is relevant to their products such as a test, card, course, and so on. All telephone and online purchases/orders are subject to the following general and special conditions.

Your order

 

Every order you place on the website will be subject to these Terms’ acceptance. All telephone and online purchases/orders are subject to the following general and specific terms and restrictions. The payer’s full approval of all terms and conditions as specified below is contingent on our receipt of funds. If the credit/debit card supplier refuses or declines payment, we will not be held liable (due to the customer quoting incorrect card details or for any other reasons). We cannot guarantee when a service will be done, when a test will be conducted, or when a product will be delivered because these dates are subject to change. In some situations, this will be influenced by third-party services, such as the effectiveness of our delivery partner. In this agreement, you expressly acknowledge and fully accept that your order is for the provision of a product or service, such as the scheduling of a ‘test,’ the processing of a ‘card application,’ or the supply of ordered revision materials and or other products or services in a similar manner, but that your order is NOT for a specific date and time when such products or services will be provided. Once an order has been placed or paid for, you will not be able to cancel it and receive a refund for specific reasons such as a delay in receiving any of the services or products ordered, or a change in your preferred choices for receiving any of the products or services ordered, or for any other reason. Any payments spent in relation to a paid-for order will be forfeited if you choose to cancel it. Furthermore, you expressly acknowledge that you will not be entitled to and will not receive any return as a result of such order cancellation under the terms of this agreement. Your CSCS card purchase and payment are valid for 90 days from the date of payment. Before the end of the 12-week period, you must present us with a correctly and completely completed CSCS card application form, as well as any application supporting papers. After 90 days have passed since you paid for a CSCS card without presenting us with a fully completed CSCS application form and all required application supporting documents, your right to use our service in processing a CSCS card application will expire, and we will no longer provide the service unless we receive full payment of the service fees. Under the provisions of this agreement, you expressly acknowledge that you will not be entitled to any type of reimbursement in this issue and that any payments you have already made in this regard are considered forfeited. You are responsible for arriving at the testing center on time and on the correct date.

There are two ways to place an order with us:

Telephone Booking

 

You can reach us at our toll-free number and place your order with one of our sales representatives. Phone reservations for test dates will be confirmed and placed on the dates you choose. Any information offered over the phone by our agents will be completely objective, allowing you to make the best decision possible based on your circumstances. All of our recommendations and services will be based on the information you supply to our representatives. You must make every attempt to submit as much relevant information as possible so that we can provide you with accurate test reservations and accurate information. Any incorrect reservations made over the phone as a result of providing false information to our agents will not be reimbursed or canceled. If an agent makes a mistake, the order will be rebooked at no extra charge. You will be asked to indicate your consent to our Terms before completing a payment. At the email address you give, an auto-generated invoice confirming your order details will be forwarded to you.

Online reservations are available.

 

You can make an online reservation by going to the website and selecting the goods or service you want to buy, as well as agreeing to the company’s terms. If you make a payment using this online booking service, it will be assumed that you agree to the website’s terms. Filling out the details in the booking form is required before paying for the product. After you’ve finished the booking form and provided proper information, you’ll be able to make a full payment. You will be asked to indicate your consent to our Terms before completing a payment. At the email address you give, an auto-generated invoice confirming your order details will be forwarded to you.

The day and time are decided based on the availability of the participants.

 

If the requested day is not available, we will offer you an alternative date and time within the same test center or a different test center, depending on your unique circumstances. Bookings made online before 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday will be confirmed the same day. Any reservations made on Sunday will be confirmed the following day. If there are any mistakes in your order, please let us know right once. We have the right to restrict access to the website and/or cancel any order. Where we have informed you that we are unable to accept your order, the contract will not be completed.

CITB Tests

The CSCS card and CITB test fee are non-refundable under any circumstances

 

Any online bookings made after 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday will be confirmed the next working day. Any reservations made on Sunday will be confirmed the following day. You are responsible for showing up for the test on time and on the correct date. On a live system, test bookings are made on a first-come, first-served basis. Your test cannot be cancelled once it has been scheduled unless you request it four working days prior to the scheduled test date. When making an online reservation, keep in mind that the day and time you select are subject to availability. Once you receive an email confirmation, your reservation is complete. The test times may be subject to change prior to this. You must have a valid photo ID (passport or driver’s license). If you do not have a valid form, you must bring a properly filed waiver form to the exam center. If you do not have a valid form of identification, you must notify us so that a waiver form can be given to you. The total cost of the test is £42.00. Free Tests, Card Offers, and Course Offers are some of the special offers available. Policy on Refunds Any additional product included in the offer (such as the course or the card) is non-refundable once your test has been scheduled and you have received a booking confirmation email.

Waiver Form

 

The waiver form can be received by sending an email to [email protected] from our Customer Services department. It is your obligation to get the form through email from us and to complete it accurately. Please double-check that your sponsor or doctor has signed your paperwork and that they have properly stated: “who they are?” Your application must also contain a recent photograph and be signed by both you and your sponsor. It is your obligation to read the form, correctly fill it out, and bring it with you to the exam center. This form is only good for one test. Download the Waiver Form by clicking here.

 

Rescheduling Policy

 

If you need to postpone a test that you scheduled with us, please contact us by email at [email protected] or by phone at 011458582033, stating your First Name, Surname, and Invoice number. At least 72 hours before your test, you must notify us. Your money will not be returned if you do not contact us as instructed above.

 

Retake tests

 

Only if you take the original test is it possible to retake it.

 

The retake option is only available for 60 days following the first exam of your original booking.

 

If you book a retake at the time of the initial test, the charge is £11.99; otherwise, the fee is £42.00.

 

Your retake expenses will not be returned if you pass the first test.

 

The cost is non-refundable and non-transferable to another exam.

 

The retake cannot be purchased separately. If you fail a test and did not use the retake option when you first took it,

 

You must also pay the standard test charge in addition to your test.

The terms and conditions are listed below.

 

Because we incur a £24 administrative fee, the whole CSCS card fee is never recoverable.

 

Because we incur a £24.99 administrative fee, the whole Skill card fee is never refundable.

 

The £36 part-refund can only be applied to the card if it has not yet been submitted to the appropriate organization for issuance.

 

Should any other conditions occur, the management will make the final decision.

 

A decision has been reached regarding a refund.

 

The CSCS card is valid for five years, however, trainee cards are only good for one or three years.

 

Any online bookings made after 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday will be confirmed the next working day. Any reservations made on Sunday will be confirmed on Monday.

After the delegate passes the test, the card is normally issued in 35-40 working days.

 

However, there may be an unforeseen delay from time to time, which might take anywhere from 35 to 60 days.

Courses in Construction

 

Bookings are only confirmed once you have received an email confirmation. They may be subject to change prior to this.

 

The joining instructions may take a few days to arrive, but they should arrive one week before the course begins.

 

To the course, you must bring a valid form of identification as well as your NI number.

 

Customers who book online have the option of going through the course at any time. Customers must, however, contact us on our main lines for course evaluation.

Cancellation policy for Courses

 

If a consumer wishes to cancel services, they must notify the company in advance. Where the customer gives notice of cancellation or amendments of the Services within the timeframes given below, the following charges shall be charged by the customer to the company about that part of the Services to be cancelled or amended:

 

There is no cancellation fee if you book for at least 29 days.

 

22-28 days or more prior to the start of the Services: 25% of the costs due:

 

Alternatively, 15-21 days prior to the start of the Services, 50% of the payments are due:

 

Alternatively, 75 percent of the costs are required 8-14 days prior to the start of the Services:

 

0-7 days prior to the start of the Services: 100% of the costs are due.

NVQ’s

You must pay an advance deposit of at least 60% of the NVQ course fee at the time of booking.

 

Course registration will be done.

 

The assessor will contact you.

 

The assessor will determine if you have sufficient experience to pursue NVQ training.

 

If the assessor rejects the application, the buyer will receive a refund less the NVQ registration price and a 25% administrative fee.

 

A properly signed declaration is required (I have agreed to the terms and conditions.)

 

The remaining funds for the whole NVQ will be required once the declaration is signed.  

 

No money will be reimbursed if you do not complete the NVQ.

 

If a customer agrees to pay the NVQ cost in instalments and later changes their mind, the registration price plus 25% of the admin fee, whichever is applicable, or both, will be deducted.

The CSCS card and test fee are non-refundable under any circumstances.

 

Because test bookings are made on a live system, they are subject to availability and are filled on a first come, first served basis; reservations or seat holding are not possible either online or over the phone. Bookings will only be made and confirmed once money has been received. Any online bookings made after 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday will be confirmed the next working day. Any reservations made on Sunday will be confirmed the following day. During the conversation, our sales representative will obtain information about the exam for which you wish to sit, the preferred exam date, the associate trade for that exam, the qualifications you have already obtained, membership of any construction body (if applicable), the CSCS card for which you wish to apply, and any necessary personal information (please see the website’s privacy policy), which will include your date of birth, National Insurance Number, address, telephone number, and any other information that is required (please see the website’s privacy policy). To finish the payment over the phone, you will be prompted to submit your debit/credit card information. Once payment has been received and the order has been confirmed, it is given to our back-office coordinator, who examines the availability of the exam day and, if that date is accessible, will arrange the test on behalf of the customer. You will receive a confirmation letter/email confirming the scheduled exam date, time, and place. If your desired date is not available, you will be offered an other date. Please keep in mind that we are not liable if you do not receive a confirmation email because it is your obligation to provide the right email address. Because you do not have a current email address, we will not send a test booking confirmation by mail unless you specifically request it. If you do not receive a postal test booking confirmation, we are not responsible. We shall not be held liable if your selected test day or time is not available, but we will make every effort to supply you with the next available date/time at your preferred test center.

Once your test is booked, it cannot be canceled and can only be rescheduled if requested 72 Hours before the exam.

Only on your behalf do we process the card application. We don’t send out any cards. We cannot guarantee that you will receive the card because the Construction Skills Certification Scheme has exclusive right to accept or reject a customer’s application. There will be no return if you do not receive a card.

 

Online and Telephone Bookings – check telephone references

 

You can make an online reservation by selecting the product or service you want to buy and agreeing to the website’s terms. If you make a payment using this online booking service, it will be assumed that you agree to the website’s terms. Filling out the details in the booking form is required before paying for the product. After you’ve finished the booking form and provided proper information, you’ll be able to make a full payment. You will be contacted prior to making any payments to show that you agree to our Terms. At the email address you give, an auto-generated invoice confirming your order details will be forwarded to you.

 

The date and time you select online are just subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

If the selected date is not available, we will offer you an alternative date and time within the same test center or a different test center based on your unique needs.

Bookings made online before 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday will be confirmed the same day. Any reservations made on Sunday will be confirmed the following day. If there are any mistakes in your order, please let us know right once. We have the right to restrict access to the website and/or cancel any order. Payment

Postage, packing, and handling charges are included in the purchase of revision materials. A value is only valid on the day of your visit to the Construction Stave site or the day you call our customer service center. When we make test bookings on behalf of clients, Construction Stave charges a fee for our services. This is made up of a single fee, the booking fee, plus our administration fee for processing the transaction.

Our current fee is listed on our website, and if you have any questions about it before making a reservation or confirming one, you should check our website, chat with one of our operatives, or email us before making a reservation. You will be legally obligated to pay our charge after the booking has been confirmed. The price you pay for the product will be the price listed on the website at the time you “confirmed purchase.” It’s worth noting that the price of an item may have changed since you added it to your shopping cart. Adding an item to your cart does not guarantee the price displayed at the time. We can’t confirm a product’s price until you’ve submitted an order and reached the “verified purchase” stage. Any discounts we provide are only valid for a short time and are subject to product availability. As a result, the price of these products may fluctuate from time to time. Construction Stave accepts credit/debit cards as well as bank transfers for payment. Before we schedule any tests or provide any products to you, we must have complete payment. At the “verified purchase” step, we will charge your credit card. If we are unable to produce the product you ordered, we will contact you by phone [and/or email] to offer you a complete refund or a replacement product. We will refund the total amount charged from your credit card if we do not receive a response from you within 24 hours of our initial effort to contact you. We shall make every effort to ensure that all prices listed on our website are correct. However, mistakes might happen. If we discover an error in the pricing of a product you’ve ordered, we’ll let you know as quickly as possible. If the correct price of a product is less than the price displayed on our website, we will charge your credit card for the difference and ship the merchandise to you. If the correct price of a product is higher than our advertised price, you will be given the option of completing your purchase at the correct price or cancelling the order that was affected by the error. If we do not receive a response from you within 24 hours of our initial attempt to contact you, we shall consider the order cancelled. We will reimburse the total amount charged from your credit card in this situation. All prices on the website include VAT (where applicable) at current rates, but do not include any delivery fees.

 

Refunds and replacements

If we have not yet scheduled your exam at the time you contact us, you will receive a full refund. However, if you contact us after receiving your booking confirmation (by email or text message), you will not be able to cancel, and a refund may be granted at the discretion of management. Our CSCS card application support service is non-refundable, although, in extraordinary circumstances, management may issue a refund to consumers at their discretion. However, it is the responsibility of the individual taking the test (“the Candidate”) to go to the test center and take the test. Construction Stave is not responsible if the Candidate does not arrive on time for the test; if the Candidate forgets to bring a valid photo ID to the test; if the Candidate fails the test; if the Candidate chooses the incorrect type of test; or if the Candidate makes any other type of error related to the test or any other matter.

 

Rescheduling Policy

 

If you need to reschedule a test you scheduled with us, please email us at [email protected] or phone us at +44 785292785 and give us your First Name, Last Name, and Invoice number. At least 72 hours before to your test, you must notify us. If you do not contact us as instructed above, you will be responsible for the entire price, including any booking or admin fees.
